“Aros Ard” means “high house” in Gaelic and this beautiful Bed and Breakfast is located in Oban with a magnificent view of the town, the bay and the Sound of Kerrera. It is only 15 minutes walk from the town centre and the sea front.
Liz and Patrick Maclean are the owners and they offer two suites with full length french doors, one with a king size bed and one with twin beds. A full Scottish breakfast can be taken in the dining room or if you prefer the privacy of your room, you can order a continental breakfast.
The house is eco-friendly with continuous filtered fresh air, particularly helpful for those with allergies. A level of insulation, high-tech double glazing, a heat-recovery ventilation system and water heating supplemented with solar tubes are installed for your comfort.
