Ten minutes out of Tobermory at the end of a country road lies Sunart View Bed and Breakfast. Situated overlooking the Sound of Mull, Loch Sunart and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, you can get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet. While wandering around the acre of grounds, you can often see deer and the odd sea eagle.
If you’re interested in getting some information about the area, Sarah and Mike, who have owned the B&B since 2002, can loan you maps and books on the island and they have also put lots of info on their website.
Breakfast consists of fruit/porridge and yogurt for starters and then to get more serious, you can choose from bacon, venison sausage, pork or lorn sausage, black pudding, haggis, egg – fried, scrambled, poached, boiled with mushrooms and tomato. If you prefer something on the lighter side but equally as delicious, you can have scrambled eggs with hot smoked salmon.
More information can be found their website. (all the pictures in this blog post are taken from the website).
