Robbie Burns Canadian-style

Ski Wentworth

I found this article regarding a Robbie Burns Day event on the East Coast of Canada.  Thought it looked like good fun … that is if you can ski, which I don’t because I’m rather pathetic at it.  They do seem to be wearing jeans under their kilts … I am not sure how authentic that is although it is rather sensible.

Wear a kilt and ski for free during the the annual Ski Wentworth tradition – Robbie Burns Day to be held Jan. 19, 2013.

Enjoy a fun kilted race, address to the haggis, prizes and more! www.skiwentworth.ca

9-10am- Kilt rental & Kilted Race registration- Limited number of Kilt rentals from Scotia Highland House available in the Main Lodge for $25 donation to the Children’s Wish Foundation. (ID required for Kilt rental) Kilted race registration (must sign waiver)
